Today I recieved my rod and I`m well impressed on first impressions!
If anyone fancies luring with a multiplier (which I do for nearly all of my Pike lure work) this is well worth a look.
At 7' and two piece with a very nice through action - clearly designed for UK angler (my previous baitcasters have been imported from the US and tend to be much stiffer and tippier) and will cope with all but serious jerkbaiting and the extra length and action will work spinnerbaits and spoons(ask your dad, they used to catch pike on `em in`t olden days) like a dream! more on this when I can get to play out!
Worth mentioning that Glasgow Angling have a 30% sale on the entire Greys Prodigy predator range, which includes bait rods, spinning rod and 3 different weight classes of jerkbait, of which I have the lightest of those on back order (I have a snooker cue -like hernia pole for big baits which I`m not a fan of using!) which I will report back on when it arrives.
I`m now SERIOUSLY considering having a couple of the deadbait rods and a drifter rod- i reckon at these prices you`re nickin`em!
