good work fella!
At least yer out catching few and when its been as cold and unsettled as this, not a bad result at all!
Two in quick succession too, I`ve noticed that alot in colder months when you get a "feeding window" thats another interesting topic that it gets noticed more on the lures.

I was losing a bit of faith that there weren't any decent perch in the section of canal I have been fishing until Sunday. I pitched up and there were to chaps fishing which was a bit of a surpise as at least 20 visits and no sign of another angler. Anyway a quick chat and one told me he had took a 3lb perch last weekend. To be fair I was a bit taken a back but he showed me a photo of a very large perch with the back drop of the bridge. So all checks out. Well not quite as when I was told when the fish was caught I was on the bank deadbaiting and not a sole in sight. So perhaps a bit of bu*llsh*t about when it was caught but it was definately caught from that spot.

Without being meaning to be harsh afetr wathcing them for 15 mins they were a right couple of numpties. But a good perch nevertheless.

With regards to the livebaiting I am uncertian as the whether it will work as the water carries some colour. It looks really servere at first but when you dip a shinny spinner in theres about 2-3ft visibility.

Last time I tried it I set the whip up and spent 3 hours catching dozens of 1+ skimmers which was great fun but nothing small enough for the hook!!

Do you think livebaiting would work ith the colour?
