Getting some boilies to try of a guy down on the Severn he reckons theyve been slaughtering the Chub and Barbs on them. He wants me to give them a go up here so he is sending some to try they are not commercialy available yet but the reports from field testing down on the Severn are good. _________________ Tight lines to all Northern anglers.

the Wear is hard work for winter Barbel not impossable but still very hard work.
ive heard of Barbel being caught in matches on the Prebends stretch,an area not usually associated with Barbel but only a few thousand yards down from the baths section!! which is a more Barbelly area,i wonder if the Barbel move into deeper water in the winter? _________________ "A Trout In The Hand Is Worth Two In The Bag"
