Forget rig/bait/difficult fish problems, this has always been the biggest pain in the rear for me, what is the best way of storing and carrying all your lures?
If anyone has cracked it, i`d love to know what you do!!
I will put an artical on later when i can get some pics sorted as I think I have found a number of systems that are interchangable which SUITS ME to a point- basically using plano type 3600 size utility boxes and different systems for storing and carrying(usually from USA, cabelas, bass pro) inc. boxes, bags, rucksacs........I dread to think what I`ve spent on this problem over the years!! From great big boxes, hung around the edges of buckets, in my pockets with hook bonnets, bloody endless!
Also when you go from species to species it gets complicated, Bass fishing with poppers then ultralights for the Perch then out with the hernia pole 80lb braid and the big bull buggerers for Pike.........It does my head in! Gaah

There may be some secondhand for sale soon too!

Being a recent convert to the world of lues etc. I have only a small collection of about 20-25 lures (god... i hope it doesn't turn into a 'problem') to date and have brought some small 6 compartment boxes from Decathlon. Only £1.20 they are handy and you can grab the ones you want for a day out and they seem to be watertight. Not a solution for a huge collection but will do for me.

i've got a relatively small lure collection maybe 40ish and i've got a wychwood extremis (think its that one its wychwood anyway) lure bag that holds my collection but most of my lures are smaller than 7" if you use largw dawgs i doubt they'd fit.

mick brown advises carrying a bucket with the bottom teble hooked onto to lip saw it on total fishing once lol

i have the smaller wychwood 'rover' lure bag, its ideal for travelling light if you fish from the bank Wink
