Went to Pebley last novemberish (BLANKED!) more bailliffs than anglers though! head guy was right enough but one of the others was telling me about a string of 40+(yes,40+!)fish he`d had from there, carp and pike plus 5lb perch, 15lb tench and a threesome he had with two 18yr old models! lucky fat, ugly little droid!
just worry about the crowds though!

I've dropped a thread on Fishing Magic to see if anyone has fished Ulley lately.
Isn't there a place near Rochdale?? _________________ damo

one of the bailiffs who runs killarmarsh angling was telling me a carp angler got snapped on 60lb brade so the carp that did it must of been of mahooooosive proportions, if you get broken on 60lb brade a fish has either run over a discarded blade after a local has pulled a mugging and got rid of the evidence or you've not a clue what your doing lol.
as far as i'm aware its done 1 30+ pike in an old pac match and maybe a couple of the old ghosties have scraped 30+ they piled a load of doubles in the other yr to get ppl on the banks _________________ Kiss my spreader block!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, Hollingworth, use to fish it regularly but parking became a mare along with the crowds of sunday sheepheads! good thing is that boats can be hired and there used to be BIG perch in there also.
Its that big one looking down from the M62 with the white pub at the side.
Used to like it, was good for a few fish, nowt big though.
Could always get out with the lures and do a few venues and have a nosey if nithing can be decided.
Alternatively the one we spoke about (cumbria) before the trout season descends on us?
have to find out about tickets beforehand though.
Have a think.........I will too, will pm my mob no so you can text any ideas!
