Hi all, I'm originally from the East Midlands. Now living in the US.
Spend my free time fishing for Carp, Buffalo, Red Fish, Speckled Trout and Flounder.

Hello cubfan,
It will be good to have some overseas input on the site especially as a few of are are either into, or getting into, artificals and from what I hear the US leads the way here.
Be good to hear what you get up to over there.

Yeah, We have some huge Bass in Texas. I prefer Carp and Salt Water fishing. I generally wade the Bay system in the Gulf. It's fun until you see a large Shark, when wading up to your waste!
If you want a Red Fish, I can point you in the right direction and provide a 22 foot Bay boat with a 150 hp yamaha.
It really amazes Me that more anglers don't come over to the US, the dollar is weak and the fishing is fantastic.
Its a cheap place to visit and they almost speak English! You can even buy British beer in the grocery store.

We`ve to get our application going for residence next door to you first (canada), hopefully for 2009!
I have lots of books on US fishing by the likes of Lefty Kreh and get some of your publications (fly fisherman, in fisherman) makes me very envious!!
like to have a stab at both large and smallmouths, muskies too, Texas is where the Alligator Gars are too, right?
Hmmmmm, NSA social texas style boys?!
