Do we have a member who can or knows anyone to re-ring and handle a pair of old carp rods?
probably a total re-build!
Basically they are the old 12' 1.75TC Diawa procarps, they only did these ones for a short while apparently they couldn`t keep putting them out for the money! they are really superb and had a ton of fish on them and have total confidence in them in hit and hold situations too-being very soft actioned and aswell they have sentimental value.
I will keep the exsisting rings unless I get advised otherwise and I would like full corkys and a new real seat will be needed too.
£££ paid, I know well enough that you don`t get owt fo' nowt!

Also I have a 6' St Croix lure rod I had built for me by tony fordham and the varnish is starting to lift, I would like this looking at too
