Throughout the summer we will be fishing various venues and at least 3, one week sessions on some of the best specimen waters in the North. We already have a fair few overnighters and one rod sessions planned too. Over the course of this Summer and to early Autumn we should have covered some seriously pukka waters for Carp and Barbel. Come Autumn/Winter we will also be hitting the Pike waters and again will be doing all of the lesser known hot spots.

After the weekend (kust gone) and a NSA outing to visit venues we have the first of the high summer (August) week sessions in hand with a venue to try our luck at Wink
We will be fishing various lakes not just the "same old same old" and our first big week stint venue has been used as part of the British Carp Fishing Championships Shocked Fish at this venue run well into the 30's and there's more than a handfull!

NSA members and contributors fishing the NSA Fishathon at present are as follows:

Boothie (member)
Dougie (contributor)
Giles (member)
Pete (contributor)
Wayne (member)
Damo (contributor)

Tight Lines and watch this space for updates, The venue we will be fishing will only be disclosed on the day we are fishing it.

Venue for this weekend is Rainbow Lake. Weather looks crap as well. With a bit of luck if we blank and don't get washed away that will be a good achievement.

This is one of the tester sessions for one of our week stints this summer (if you can call it summer). Hopefully between us we will find out whats working and whats not to make life easier for the long sessions ahead.

Hopefully we'll have some pictures to follow soon. Fingers crossed.

Disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heavy rain interspersed with showers, drizzle and periods of heavy rain.

What a lousy weekend. The only catch on the lake was a water hen by a bloke in one of the pegs opposite. What we did acieve was a going over by the EA Bailiff and soaked to the bone.

Fishing at it's worst!

Very concise! Fishing was absolutely pants Bill. Fish showing on the first day (for about an hour) then nothing. No liners no nothing. A total wipeout.
