Funnily enough I work not 1/2 mile from Salford Quays and will be moving to a new office right on the quays in the summer.

I have had a wealk down there a time or two last summer. Loads of cormarants feed on there and I have seen them catch what looks like good sized roach. The water is crystal clear and very deep but you can see the bottom 15-20ft down off the walls. Tneres also loads of basins of the quays.

Only thing is I think its a no go for fishing except for very few isloated stretches as its all plush offices and hotels these days. Salford AC have some areas but remember your baseball bat as its full of Jerkit
