baits on saturday and lures sunday(i think!) venue open to suggestions

| Fairviews supposed to be good for pike also they are not fished for that much can use live baits aswell for them

was thinking river venues this weekend as they are fishable and its looking like they will stay that way until the w/end.
it would seem a shame not to make the best of it.
was thinking Ure/Ouse/Swale myself.
how big is fairveiw?

Personally, I like pike waters big or open, on the old adage of them thriving on neglect and all!
I reckon thats a place for a midweek sesh.
If a river was to be out of the question then a big rezzy, gravel pit or lake will do me......even a canal at a push
