recently bought a Whychwood rogue shelter and managed to use it for the first time yesterday. i found it easy to set up and it had plenty of room to set up stall with all me luggage tucked away. there was agust of wind and then the clouds opened up, but i found myself enjoying the comfort of me shelter, totally dry.
i found the quality of the shelter good considering the price and up grade of an outer skin and ground sheet are available for more extreme weather ie winter but as it is i would recomend this shelter for roaming or summer sessions.

What's the damage for one of those Eric? I'm after a lightweight shelter for summer Barbel night sessions on my local stretch and want something fairly compact and no fuss. The Rogue was on my maybe list.

hi giles

i picked mine up second hand never been used for twenty five but i did some checking up before i bought it and found there about 3o to 35 quid but you can get a the ground sheet and extra top skin with door flaps all in for £40 at some online shops. ill try and find a link for ya. i think it would be ideal for summer barbeling, another plus point you can set them up in a tight area as they dont cover much ground.

Just brought myself one of these for 30 quid brand new. Not a bad piece of kit for the money and looks like it will preform well in all but proper winter weather.

May 'pimp my shelter' with the optional extras at a later date.
